Overview
The Violin House is a conceptual residential project that draws its form from the elegant curves of a violin. The design explores how organic geometry can define spatial experience — creating rooms that flow into one another without rigid boundaries.
Design Approach
The exterior shell uses a series of compound curves, resolved in Revit and rendered in Lumion to study light behaviour across the facade at different times of day. Every window placement was tested against solar angles to balance natural light with thermal performance.
Material Palette
Warm timber cladding wraps the lower levels, transitioning to white render on the upper volume. Internal finishes continue the warmth — engineered oak flooring, brushed brass fixtures, and honed stone benchtops.
